About ELOEE

Repair the Future

ELOEE is a Czech technology company on a mission to keep electronics alive. We build the infrastructure that makes device repair easy, trusted and affordable, so products serve longer and far fewer of them end up as waste.

Repair the Future isn't just our tagline. It's the outcome we design for in everything we build.

Why we do it

The planet pays for the devices we throw away. The world generates more than 62 million tonnes of electronic waste every year (UN Global E-waste Monitor, 2024), and only around a fifth of it is formally recycled, the rest goes to landfill or incineration.

Most devices that fail are not broken beyond repair. They are abandoned because no accessible, trusted, affordable repair option exists, and because manufacturers have long discouraged repair through software locks, restricted spare parts and fragmented service networks.

Repair is one of the highest-leverage climate actions available: repairing a device instead of replacing it saves roughly 30 kg of CO₂ equivalent. Closing the repair gap is good for people and for the planet.

What we do

ELOEE is a three-sided platform built around the EU Right to Repair Directive (2024/1799). A single integration makes a business compliant and every repair documented, tracked and audit-ready.

  • For manufacturers, importers and own-brand retailers — a white-label repair widget for their website. We handle repair intake, binding repair quotes (ERIF), warranty-extension tracking and a complete audit archive. Live in about a week.
  • For repair partners — jobs, scheduling, invoicing and payments in one tool, plus a steady stream of repair demand from compliance-driven manufacturers, without marketing costs.
  • For consumers — describe the fault, get upfront quotes from vetted repairers, choose your option and pay after the repair. AI triage routes every device to the right technician.
  • A data & climate layer — every completed repair improves our repair dataset and tracks the real CO₂ impact prevented.

Why now

From 31 July 2026, EU Directive 2024/1799 requires every manufacturer, importer and own-brand retailer of electronics to offer post-warranty repairs at a reasonable price. Software blocks on repair are banned, and independent repairers must be given access to spare parts.

In the Czech Republic the rules are enforced by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (ČOI) from day one, with fines of up to CZK 5,000,000 per violation. ELOEE is the compliance infrastructure this law requires, and the impact engine it enables.

Our impact

We believe every repair is a climate action. Our work is aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals 9 (Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure), 12 (Responsible Consumption & Production) and 13 (Climate Action).
